Brilliant Blume (aka Brilly) is in the Main Mare Book of the American Hanoverian Society. At the age of four months she sustained a trauma to her right forelimb resulting in a significant deviation of that limb. Thankfully she has never been unsound and is doing well with her under saddle training. Unfortunately though that limb deviation prevented her from getting her Elite Mare title with the AHS (she scored all 7s and 8s, other than a 6 on limb and correctness of gaits as she has a "paddle" due to the deviation). She has also been slow to mature, looking like a 3-year old as a coming 5-year old. Despite that, at the age of 3-years old and having only been under saddle 3 months, she completed her MPT with a very solid score of 7.05.
In 2017 I rode her in a few schooling show at Intro Level and she was fantastic! We always scored in the high 60s-mid-70s and the judges loved her. In 2018 Becca Swann took over the reins and has been showing Training Level classes with scores consistently in the 60s and qualifying for Reginal BLM Championships. Since she has been a slow maturing mare, and has a limb deviation from an injury, we are taking it slow, but look forward to her moving up the levels!
TOP FILLY at her American Hanoverian Inspection at Sullivan Farm on September 13, 2013! Judges comments were "this is exactly the type of horse we are breeding for. Great type, very active hind end, beautiful head and neck".
Brilliant Blume was born May 18, 2013 at a staggering 145lb. She is all black, with not a spot of white on her, beautiful type as predicted by her Trakehner father, super temperament and three nice gaits with a very active hind end.

Connery (now being ridden by Hubertus Schmidt), and In Flagranti, as well as being the grand sire (via E.H.Connery) of the sensational stallion Imperio. In 2011 the Trakehner Show highlights included two full brother stallions by Gribaldi, All Inclusive and All Agility, who boast E.H. Buddenbrock as the dam sire. Also presented by Ingrid Klimke at that show was the sensational jumping stallion and Bundeschampionat competitor Glenn Grant (E.H. Buddenbrock-Consul). Buddenbrock himself placed and competed in the Bundeschampionat for eventing before being retired to the breeding shed due to his popularity. He is one of only two Elite Trakehner stallions standing in North America. He is a stallion known for producing beautiful, highly rideable and versatile horses.
